Nämä eivät olekaan ihan tavallisia tomaatteja, vaan sellaisia, kun tomaatit olivat ennenkuin niitä alettiin jalostaa.

C-vitamiinia

Sain ison ranskalais-henkisen miniruokatilauksen, ja tässä on ensimmäinen osio siitä. Laitoin sitruunat Estherin kulhoon näytille.

I got a large order for French style minifoods, and this is the first part. I put the lemons into Esther's dish to show them.

Vääntäen ja kääntäen

Eilen tehtiin kerhossa rautalangasta kaikkea kivaa. Tässä liki yöllä ottamani kuva illan tuotoksista.

I added some greenery around the candelabra.

That meant opening up the file containing photos from March 2007.
My girls were flowergirls in two weddings that spring, and this is the first one.

My cousin Salla got married, she's Saara's god mother.

They looked so angelic in all white and with those bright red roses.

In my past I've worked as a florist and did the flowers for both weddings that spring, the later one being my brother's in April.

I've been busy painting all day as I decided that the green just wasn't cutting it.

Viimeisen lomaviikon puuhailuja...

Aivan käsittämätöntä, että kahdeksan lomaviikkoa on karannut jonnekin... ja viimeistä viedään.

I can't believe eight vacation weeks are behind me and I've got just this week left.

Sain kattokruunun sähköistettyä, aikamoista vääntöä oli, mutta tulipahan tehtyä. Sohvakin on uusi, kaipaa kyllä uutta kangasta, tuo on aika karmaiseva. Jopa noidalle.

I got the chandelier electrified, it was quite the hassle, but I managed it. The couch is also new, needs to be upholstered, that fabric is pretty awful. Even for a witch.

Työpöytäkin on tuunattu ja vanhennettu.

The potting table has been altered and made look older.

Tänään sain keittiöön uuden ikkunan, oli niin synkkä huone muuten.

I cut a new window to the kitchen today, it was such a dark room.

Ja oviaukkokin löytyy.
I cut the door as well.

Liljat ovat Katriina Alasen setti, jonka ostin Lahdesta, maalasin nuo terälehdet oranssiksi. Tein ne eilen Taru Sormusten Herraa katsellessa.

The lilies were a kit, I painted the petals orange. I finished these while watcing Lord of the Rings last night.

Samalla tuli tehtyä loppuun yksi vänkyrä kori, joka kummitteli tuossa viikkoja puolivalmiina.
I also managed to finish this wonky basket that's been haunting me for weeks half done.

I've had a few people ask about the raised details on some of my wooden items, they are made with these outline stickers.
