Pensselin alla

Tämä hylly sai väriä pintaansa, se tulee Estherin työhuoneeseen. Tarkoitus olisi jakaa yläkerran toinen huone kahtia niin, että taakse tulee kylppäri ja etuosaan työhuone.
I painted the cupboard, it'll get a place in Esther's workroom. The idea is to split one of the upstairs rooms into two, so that the back part is the bathroom and the front a working area.


Sänkykin on maalattu. Patjan sain eilen ommeltua, muut petivaatteet tulevat toivottavasti tehtyä viikonlopun aikana.
The bed is painted. I finished sewing the mattress yesterday, I hope to finish the rest of the bedding over the weekend.

Voihan solmu sentään...

Mainitsin, että viime kerhokerralla kun muut solmivat makramee juttujaan, tein jotain ihan muuta.
Se oli siksi, että meillä oli kaksi makramee kertaa peräkkäin ja kiroilin oman amppelini kotona valmiiksi ;)
Aika vänkyrä tuli, mutta onpahan valmis!
I mentioned that I was working on something else at the miniclub meeting while the others were still doing macramee.
That was because we had two macramee sessions back to back and I had already finished my project cursing like a sailor ;)
It's quite crooked, but it is finished!

Aarteita

Eilen löytyi postilaatikosta paketti Uudesta Seelannista. Olin sopinut vaihdosta Mercedeksen kanssa. Oma pakettini odottaa vielä loppusilausta markkinavalmisteluiden vuoksi. Otankin muutaman jutun mukaan viikonlopuksi Hangon rantakallioille :)
I had a lovely package from New Zealand waiting for me in the mailbox yesterday. I had arranged a swap with Mercedes. My package is still waiting on a few things due to preparations for the fair taking precedence. But I'm taking a few little projects with me this weekend to the shores of Hanko :)

Etsiskelin eilen pihalta kaikkea mistä voisi saada ihmeellisiä kasveja tehtyä... löytyihän niitä. Kunhan kuivuvat ensin.
I went looking for plant parts from the garden to make magical plants out of.. I found a few. Now I have to wait for them to dry out.

Viimeksi kerhossa muuta vielä solmivat makrameeta, mutta itse tein Estherille uuden kesäjuhlahatun.
At the last miniclub the others were doing macramee, but I made Esther a new summer party hat.

Eilen tuli koko päivä massailtua lisää purtavaa Forssan markkinoille 26.7.
Kumma, että pöytä näyttää massaillessa tältä vaikka tekee jotain niin pientä...
I spent all yesterday with my clays out making foods to sell at the fair in Forssa 26.7.
It's amazing how my desk can look like this, even when I'm makinf something so tiny...

Joku kysyi Lahdessa josko minulla olisi lohta. No silloin ei ollut, mutta nyt on!
Someone asked me in Lahti if I had any salmon. I didn't then, but do now!
