Narcissus Glitteratis.

Löytyi sopiva pala pahvia väliseinän tekoon.
I found a perfect piece of thick cardboard to make the dividing wall.

Suurin ongelma nyt onkin miten saan lampun siirrettyä, kun talon katto on jo liimattu paikoilleen...höh.

My problem now is how to move the lamp as the roof of the house is already glued to place...ugh..

Ihanuuksia löytyi jälleen.
I found plenty of lovelies.

Kasvipöytä, lasipullot ja purnukka ovat Doloreksen pöydästä, kävin säännöllisin välein ihailemassa ja aina tarttui jotain mukaan.
The plant satnd kit, glassbottles and ajr are from the Dolores table, I went to peek reguularly and always found something new.

Maljakko jälleen Dolorekselta ja ihana kattila on Loten käsialaa.

The vase is again from Dolores and the veggie pot from Lotte.

Lasikannut Nukkekoti ja lelusta.


Kaunis tyyny on Marialta.

The pretty pillow is from Maria.

Viimeinen ostos Dolorekselta... toimivat sakset. Ah ja voi.

Kylppärin lattia

Kun ulkona sataa kaatamalla on hyvä hetki ottaa esiin sakset, liima ja maalit.
When it is pouring outside, it's a good time to take out scissors, glue and paints.

Lattialaatat on leikattu 1mm paksusta pahvista.
The tiles were cut from 1mm thick cardboard.


Toinen maalikerros on vaaleampaa sävyä ja sudittu pintaan hieman huolimattomasti, jotta tumma sävy paikoin näkyy.
The second coat of paint is lighter and I added it in a way that leaves some of the darker paint showing.


Kiiltävä lakka pintaan ja hieman likaa saumoihin.
Shiny sealer on top with a little grime added to the seams.

Ja paikoillaan.

Viimeiset vielä markkinoille

Tein vielä sunnuntaiksi muutaman leipälaatikon, kun sattui olemaan sopiva pala puuta esillä :)

I made some bread boxes for the fair as I had a piece of wood just right on my desk :)

Matka-arkku

Arkku on ollut käytössä Estherin ekasta Tylypahka vuodesta asti.
She's had the trunk since her 1st year at Hogwarts.

Täytyy sanoa, että kokoisekseen oli aika mittava projekti.

I have to say that for a small item it was one big project.

Ja ohjeista huolimatta (tai joskus niistä johtuen) piti improvisoida.

And in spite of the directions (or sometimes because of them) I had to improvise.

Ha.

Viikonlopun askartelut

Lämmin rantakallio ja kivaa pikkupuuhaa = oikein mukava viikonloppu.
A warm rocky shore and fun little things to do = a very nice weekend.

Esther sai keittiöjakkaran, tehty pahvista.
Esther got kitchen steps, made from cardboard.


Ja pitkästä aikaa tein yhden leipälaatikonkin.
It's been a long while since I last made a bread bin.


Sänky sai muhkean patjan.
The bed got a thick mattress.


Lakanat ja tyynyliinat on tehty ukkini vanhasta nenäliinasta.
The sheets and pillowcases are made from my Granddad's old hankie.

The bed I bought from here.

Vielä on yksi viikonlopun projekti kesken, on sen verran kinkkinen, että voi mennä vielä pari iltaa. Ja yksi pieni on vielä maalia vailla.

I still have one of my weekend projects unfinished, it's fiddly enough as to keep me occupied for a couple more evenings. And one small piece still needs paint.
